In a bold daylight robbery, a man posing as a customer entered the Aryavart Bank branch in Gaipura market, Vindhyachal police station area of Mirzapur, and stole a mobile phone within seconds. The thief’s swift action was caught on the bank’s CCTV cameras.

Incident Overview

Upon entering the bank, the thief approached a counter where a female was conducting her banking transactions. He moved to the right side of the counter, then to the left, and discreetly took out his mobile phone. After pocketing his phone, he extended his hand, grabbed the girl’s phone from the counter, pocketed it, and walked away.

The bank staff promptly reported the theft to the Gaipura police post. As soon as the information was received, the police began searching for the thief.
