A surprising incident created chaos at a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Tharet, Datia district near Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, after a snake suddenly entered the branch premises on Friday. According to staff members, work came to a complete standstill the moment they spotted the snake moving inside the office. Employees rushed to safety, and customers waiting inside the branch also ran out in panic. Datia is approximately 30 Kilometers from Jhansi and 75 Kilometers from Gwalior.

The unexpected visitor caused severe disruption in banking operations. A local snake-rescue team was called in to safely remove the reptile from the branch. No injuries were reported, but the incident left both staff and customers shaken. Locals said snakes entering homes and buildings have become more frequent recently due to changing weather conditions and nearby fields.
The bank is expected to increase precautionary measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
