Uttar Pradesh Declares Holiday on 26 and 27 March 2026 for Ram Navami

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has declared a public holiday for all government offices and banks on the occasion of Ram Navami. As per the latest notification, 26 March 2026 and 27 March 2026 have been declared holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
Earlier, 26 March 2026 was already declared as a public holiday. Now, the government has also announced 27 March 2026 (Friday) as an additional holiday, resulting in two consecutive non-working days. With this decision, all government offices, banks, and financial institutions across the state will remain closed on both days. The move has been taken to allow people to celebrate the festival of Ram Navami.
