UPI Limit increased for Some Categories, Check New Limit for Jewellery, Insurance

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has announced a major revision of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) limit for Person-to-Merchant (P2M) transactions. The revised rules will come in effect from 15th of September.

Users can now make UPI merchant transactions of up to 10 lakh rupees in a single day for selected verified categories. However, the UPI limit for Person-to-Person (P2P) transfers remains unchanged at 1 lakh rupees per day.
