UP Govt Declares Bank Holiday on 7th October 2025

Finally the Government of Uttar Pradesh has declared holiday for Bank employees on 7th October 2025 on the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti. The holiday has been announced for all government departments in Uttar Pradesh.

Earlier the holiday was not applicable for Banks. The government has declared holiday only for government departments. The holiday letter for government departments is as below:

AIBOC UP State Unit requested Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to look into the issue and declared holiday for Bank Employees also. Finally, the Government has accepted the demands of Bank employees.
