In an unfortunate incident at Union Bank in Majra Village, Mohali, a security guard opened fire during a quarrel, resulting in a young man being seriously injured. The victim was subsequently referred to PGI Chandigarh for treatment, but unfortunately, he passed away.
According to the available information, the dispute between the two individuals arose due to the security guard’s refusal to open the bank gate. This disagreement escalated, leading to the security guard shooting the young man.
The police have taken the accused, Gurinder Singh, into custody and are currently interrogating him. They are also recording the statement of the victim as part of their investigation.
