Union Bank Regional Head committed suicide in Meerut

Ghaziabad: Union Bank’s Regional Manager Yogesh Kumar committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan on Sunday morning in Amrapali Royal Society located in Vaibhavkhand of Kotwali area. The family members took him down from the fan and took him to Fortis Hospital in Noida where the doctors declared him dead. Police did not find any suicide note from the room.

According to the police, Regional Manager Yogesh Kumar lived in Urvashi-1 tower of the society. He was posted in Union Bank, Meerut. At night he had dinner with the family. After this he went to sleep in the room. When the door of the room did not open in the morning, his wife and other members came to wake him up.

When there was no sound after knocking on the door for a long time, they became suspicious. Somehow the family members opened the door and took him to Noida hospital. Noida Police took possession of the body and informed Indirapuram Police. When the police reached his house, nothing was found in the room. Indirapuram ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh said that the reasons for suicide are being ascertained. According to family members, his behavior was normal.
