UFBU opposes Appointment of Private Sector Candidates to Top Posts in SBI and other PSU Banks

United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) opposes the appointment of candidates from private sector to top posts in SBI and other Nationalised Banks. Recently, the Government of India has released guidelines that now candidates from private sectors can be appointed as MD in public sector banks.

Till now, only candidates promoted to higher posts in Banks through internal exams are appointed as MD in PSU Banks. Now candidates from private sector can be appointed as MD. UFBU has released a press release and strongly opposed this decision of Government.
