Two people stole Rs 4.92 crore Gold from Finance Company

According to the police, two people who haven’t been identified broke into the office of a home finance company in Nashik city, Maharashtra. They managed to steal gold worth Rs 4.92 crore. The incident happened early in the morning on Saturday at the Indira Heights commercial complex in the old Gangapur Naka area. The finance company had kept gold ornaments belonging to 222 customers in a safety locker. The theft was discovered when one of the staff members found the locker empty on Saturday evening. The police were immediately informed.

During their investigation, the police reviewed the CCTV footage from the office. The footage revealed that two unknown individuals entered the premises through a window in one of the cabins. They then used keys from the office to open the safety locker and took away the jewelry. One of the individuals was wearing a white Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kit, while the other person had a white cap and a mask on their face.

The police have registered a case and are currently conducting a further investigation to apprehend the culprits.
