Triptii Dimri shared that her parents were surprised and took some time to process her intimate scenes in Animal. The actress, acclaimed for her role alongside Ranbir Kapoor, gained attention not only for her performance but also for bold scenes in the film. In a recent interview, Triptii mentioned that her parents, after watching the movie, were initially taken aback, saying they had never seen such scenes in films before.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Triptii conveyed her parents’ reaction, saying, “My parents got a little taken aback. (They said) ‘We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it.’ It took them time to get over that scene. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that but it’s okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this.'”
She defended her choices, stating, “I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job, and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor, and I have to be 100 percent honest with the character that I play, and I did that.”
Triptii had previously shared insights into filming the scene, emphasizing the careful measures taken on set, with only a limited number of people present, and Ranbir Kapoor regularly checking on her well-being.
