Three Employees including Bank Manager arrested in Bank Robbery Case

The Muzaffarpur Police have revealed a theft case at a microfinance company in Sakra market. The police have arrested the bank manager, branch manager, and a bank employee in connection with the theft. The stolen money, as well as the hammer and other materials used in the theft, have been recovered.

According to DSP East-2 Manoj Kumar Singh, the police received information that Rs. 2,09,810 had been stolen from the Satya Microfinance Company in Sakra market. A case was registered at the Sakra police station, and a special team was formed to investigate the matter. The team took action and arrested three individuals, recovering the stolen money from them. The police have also seized the hammer and locks used in the theft.

It has been revealed during the interrogation that the bank employees and manager were involved in the theft. The arrested individuals have been identified as branch manager Sonu Thakur, senior staff Santosh Kumar, and Sujit Kumar. Further investigation revealed that these individuals had embezzled around Rs. 9 lakh in this bank branch. To cover up their actions, they had planned to file an FIR for the theft of Rs. 11 lakh and had even insured the money.
