Thieves broke into the wall of Axis Bank located at the Pakka Kheda village turn and stole ₹6.74 lakh. While leaving, they also took the DVR. Upon receiving the information, the police and the FSL team arrived at the scene and began their investigation.
Axis Bank branch manager Deepak stated that last Friday, after locking up the branch as usual, the employees left. On Monday morning, when the staff opened the bank at around 9 AM, they discovered that the rear wall of the bank was broken. The thieves had cut above the defender of the strong room door and stolen approximately ₹6.74 lakh from a cupboard. Upon checking the DVR center’s camera recordings, it was found that the bank’s network connectivity had gone down around 1:26 AM on Monday night.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case. Police Station in-charge Jagdish Pandey, along with teams from CIA One and CIA Two, visited the site and collected evidence. The way the thieves carried out the crime suggests they had scouted the area beforehand. Since the bank’s rear wall faces a field, the thieves likely sat in the field, broke the wall, and then entered the bank to commit the theft.
