A shocking case of a suspicious death has come to light in the Alaapur police station area of Budaun district, Uttar Pradesh. The body of a 35-year-old man named Gajendra, who previously worked on contract at the State Bank of India (SBI), was found on the roof of a neighbor’s house under mysterious circumstances.

Gajendra was a resident of Amdapur village and had been working as a field officer at SBI on a contractual basis. His contract had ended about two months ago. According to his family, Gajendra had returned home the previous evening after being out with a local man named Ganga Singh, who dropped him off after about one and a half hours.

That night, Gajendra went to sleep on the roof of his own house, as he usually did. However, the next morning, when he did not wake up even by 8 AM, his family members went up to check on him. To their surprise, he was not there.

After searching around, the family found Gajendra’s body lying on the roof of a nearby house belonging to a man named Bhure. What shocked the family even more were visible injury marks on his body, which raised serious suspicions about foul play.

The family rushed him to several private hospitals in the hope that he could be saved, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Gajendra’s family strongly believes that this was not a natural death. They have alleged that he was murdered due to an old rivalry with another family in the village. According to them, the injuries suggest that he was attacked.

The police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. SHO Udaiveer Singh of Alaapur Police Station said that an investigation has been launched, and further action will be taken based on the post-mortem report.

This incident has caused tension and concern among the local villagers, as many are now demanding a fair and speedy investigation.
