
The State Bank Staff Association in the Lucknow Division has divided the Lucknow Zone into two areas: Eastern and Western. This decision was announced during a program held at the State Bank’s local head office. In the program, Division General Secretary D.K. Singh appointed Shivkumar Singh as the Deputy General Secretary for the Eastern region and Brijesh Tiwari as the Deputy General Secretary for the Western region.
According to General Secretary D.K. Singh, the Eastern region will include Barabanki, Bahraich, Gonda, Balrampur, and the Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow. The Western region will cover Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Shahjahanpur, and the Hazratganj and Kapurthala areas of Lucknow. Both Deputy General Secretaries, along with their teams, will focus on improving the welfare of State Bank staff in these areas.
Divisional President Ajay Pandey highlighted that the State Bank’s primary goal is to provide better services to its customers. Additionally, the association is dedicated to addressing the needs and challenges faced by the bank’s employees. The event saw a large turnout of staff, including Ashutosh Verma (DGS Headquarters), Tarkeshwar Singh Chauhan (DGS NCBE), Akash Sharma (DGS NCBE), and other key officials.
