Shadi Anudan Yojana: UP Government is providing Rs 20,000 for daughter’s marriage

The UP government has started a new scheme called the Shadi Anudan Yojana. Under this scheme, the government gives Rs 20,000 to help with the marriage of daughters. This help is given to families who belong to economically weaker OBC communities, economically weaker Other Backward Class communities, and economically weaker Scheduled Tribe communities.

This scheme is very helpful for poor families. Many parents worry about the high cost of their daughter’s marriage. With this financial support, some of their burden becomes lighter.
