
The State Bank of India (SBI) has started accepting applications for the 13th batch of its prestigious Youth for India (YFI) Fellowship. The program invites young and dynamic individuals to contribute to rural development by working closely with communities and partner NGOs.
What is SBI Youth for India Fellowship?
The SBI YFI Fellowship is a 13-month-long program designed for graduates and young professionals aged 21 to 32 years. It aims to bridge the gap between urban talent and rural challenges by providing an opportunity to work on grassroots-level projects. Selected candidates will collaborate with rural communities and 13 partner NGOs to drive meaningful change. As a Fellow, you will collaborate with rural communities and leading NGOs to address critical challenges, create sustainable solutions, and transform lives.
SBI Youth for India Fellowship Eligibility
As per the official release, applications are open to:
- Indian citizens
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)
- Citizens of Bhutan and Nepal
- The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree before 1 October 2025.
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
- The candidate must be between 21 and 32 years of age on the day of commencement of the program, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 5th August 1993 and not later than 6th October 2004.

Impact of the Fellowship
