SBI Reintroduces its most popular ‘Amrit Vrishti’ FD Scheme, SBI is providing High Interest on this FD

The State Bank of India (SBI) has brought back its special 444-day fixed deposit scheme called ‘Amrit Vrishti’ starting April 15, 2025. However, the interest rate has been revised to 7.05% for general customers. For senior citizens, the interest rate is slightly higher at 7.55%, and super senior citizens will receive an interest rate of 7.65%.
SBI has mentioned on its official website that the Amrit Vrishti scheme is now available with the following interest rates:
- General customers: 7.05%
- Senior citizens: 7.55%
- Super senior citizens: 7.65%

Investors can open the ‘Amrit Vrishti’ Fixed Deposit scheme through various channels including SBI branches, internet banking, and the Yono app. You can simple visit any SBI branch and open a new FD account.
