SBI Manager Sets Example of Honesty, Returns Customer’s Gold Ornament
Patiala, Punjab: In the world of greed and bribe, an SBI manager has set an example of honesty. The officer returned the gold ornaments of a customer that fell by mistake in the locker room. The officer deserving praise is – Ravinder Kaur, the Deputy Manager of State Bank of India, Samana branch. She returned a valuable gold ornament that a customer had accidentally dropped outside his locker.

The customer, Manjinder Singh, said he visited the bank on February 3 to operate his locker. During this time, a gold ornament fell out of his locker.

After operating the locker, he left the bank. Around 4 PM, he received a call from Ravinder Kaur. She asked him to visit Bank against and check his locker.
Manjinder Singh said he did not have time and told her that he would come the next day. On February 4, he went to the bank and checked his locker. He found that one item was missing. The customer got astonished fearing loss of valuable gold. But the manager consoled him returning the gold ornament to him.

This is truly a rarest of the rare incident. The honesty of the bank officer deserves praise, and she should be rewarded for her integrity. This is why people continue to trust public sector banks more than their private counterparts.
