SBI FD Interest Rates For Public and Senior Citizens

SBI FD Interest Rates: State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest bank in India, and it offers a variety of fixed deposit (FD) schemes to its customers. The interest rates on SBI FDs are different for the general public and senior citizens.

For the general public, the interest rates on SBI FDs range from 3.00% to 7.10% per annum, depending on the tenure of the deposit. For senior citizens, the interest rates are slightly higher, ranging from 3.50% to 7.60% per annum.

The minimum deposit amount for an SBI FD is ₹1,000, and there is no maximum limit. The interest on SBI FDs is paid on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual basis, depending on the option chosen by the depositor.

SBI FDs are a safe and secure investment option, and they offer a good way to earn a regular income. The interest rates on SBI FDs are also relatively competitive, making them a good option for investors who are looking for a fixed income.
