
Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Chairman of State Bank of India (SBI), virtually inaugurated ten new branches in Telangana, specifically in the Hyderabad Circle, in the presence of Chief General Manager Rajesh Kumar. The new branches are located at Alampur X-Road, Chinnambavi, Raghavendra Colony (Kondapur), Neopolis, Kistareddypet (Patancheru), Khajaguda, Osman Nagar, Kangti (Narayankhed), Suchitra Circle (Quthbullapur), and Nandipet.
Out of these, five branches are situated in rural areas, while the other five are located in urban centers. With the addition of these new branches, SBI now has a total of 1,206 branches in the state, further strengthening its presence across Telangana.
During the inauguration, Setty emphasized that the customer should be the center of SBI’s operations. He advised the staff to focus on four key principles: customer-centricity, business growth, sustainable growth, and employee-centricity.
Setty also highlighted SBI’s continued efforts to support the nation’s economy. He shared that the bank has been ranked 4th globally in the list of “Most Trusted Banks” and was named “The Best Bank of India for 2024” by Global Finance Magazine. Additionally, SBI was recognized as the HR Leader of the Year among large-scale organizations and received the award for Excellence in Business Continuity for Planning and Management at the ET Human Capital Awards.
