State Bank of India (SBI) has appointed Debasish Mishra as the Chief General Manager of its New Delhi Circle, effective November 1, 2024. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing the bank’s leadership in one of its most significant operational regions.
Debasish Mishra comes with extensive experience across various sectors, including Credit, Operations, Foreign Exchange (Forex), Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR), and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). His career spans both domestic and international arenas, making him well-equipped to handle the challenges and opportunities in the banking sector. SBI’s statement highlighted Mishra’s credentials as a Certified Financial Planner and a Chevening Gurukul Scholar, indicating his strong educational background and expertise in financial management.
