The State Bank of India (SBI) and Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, have jointly initiated a notable tree plantation drive under the “Ik Pedh Maa Ke Naam” program, part of the #PLANT4MOTHER campaign. This initiative is a key component of SBI’s PAN India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
Inauguration of the Initiative
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, Registrar of MRSPTU, and Sh. Abhishek Sharma, Deputy General Manager (DGM) of SBI Administrative Office Bathinda. They launched the drive with the objective of planting hundreds of trees and plants throughout the university campus.
Management and Support
The drive was organized by Incharge Horticulture Pritpal Singh Aulakh and Head Gardner Shiv Parshad, who were supported by their dedicated team. Additionally, senior SBI officials, including Sh. Manjit Singh, Chief Manager HR at SBI, Sh. Daya Ram, Deputy Manager, and Sh. Rajwinder Bhardwaj, Manager at SBI, were present to support and endorse the cause.
