Rs.65 lakh fraud in Bandhan Bank, Manager gave fake loans to customers

Bahraich: According to recent reports, the manager of Bandhan Bank, Rajesh Kumar, has been accused of forging customer papers and taking out loans worth lakhs of rupees in their names. When customers received messages to pay the loan installments, they visited the bank and discovered that fake loans had been taken out in their names. The matter was brought to the attention of higher officials at the bank, and an investigation was conducted by the area manager, Pappu Kumar Bharti. The investigation found the bank manager guilty of the fraudulent activities. As a result, the area manager filed a complaint with the Superintendent of Police (SP), leading to the registration of a case against the accused bank manager.

Bandhan Bank’s area manager, Pappu Kumar Bharti, reported that the bank manager, Rajesh Kumar, had fraudulently embezzled Rs 65,31,000 in the name of the bank’s customers at the Bahraich Bank branch. This fraudulent activity has tarnished the bank’s image, as customers complained that loans were taken in their names and money was withdrawn without their knowledge. The investigation confirmed the validity of these allegations made by the customers. Consequently, the Kotwali Dehat police registered a case against the accused bank manager based on the orders of the SP.
