The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting applications for the position of Superintending Engineer (Vigilance), equivalent to Grade ‘D’. This is a full-time contract-based role with only one vacancy available.
Key Details
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 58 and 62 years as of December 1, 2024.
- Tenure: Initial appointment is for one year, extendable annually for up to two additional years, subject to performance and mutual agreement.
- Location: The position is based in Mumbai, but RBI reserves the right to post the candidate in other locations across India.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹3,57,200 (effective from February 1, 2024).
- Housing Allowance: ₹90,000 (applicable for Mumbai).
- Higher Compensation: Candidates with exceptional qualifications/experience may receive up to ₹4,06,500 per month.
- Annual salary revisions will account for inflation, effective from February 1 each year.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
Retired Civil Engineers from Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertakings, at a senior level.
Desirable Qualifications
Background in Information Technology (IT).
Desirable Experience
Exposure to IT projects and works.
