Today, the RBI has released MPC meeting decisions. RBI had announced that the next meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) during the financial year 2025-26 will be held during August 5 – 7, 2025. Due to administrative exigencies, the MPC meeting has been rescheduled to August 4 – 6, 2025. This announcement is made under Section 45ZI(4) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
In the latest MPC, the Reserve Bank of India has decreased Repo Rate to 5.5% from 6%. The latest rates are given below:
