RBI Launches 46th Round of Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey for July – September 2025

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has started the 46th round of its quarterly Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey (SIOS) for the period July to September 2025.
This survey is conducted to understand the current business situation in India’s services and infrastructure sectors. It collects opinions from selected companies on various aspects of their business for the present quarter (Q2: 2025–26) and their expectations for the next quarter (Q3: 2025–26).
Companies provide qualitative responses on key areas such as:
- Demand conditions
- Financial health
- Employment outlook
- Price trends
Additionally, the survey also includes questions about how these businesses expect to perform in the next two quarters — Q4: 2025–26 and Q1: 2026–27 — offering a longer-term view on business confidence and conditions.
This survey helps the RBI monitor economic trends and take informed decisions on policy matters related to the services and infrastructure sectors.
M/s Genesis Management & Market Research Pvt. Ltd. has been authorised to conduct the survey for July-September 2025 quarter on behalf of the Reserve Bank. While the agency will approach selected companies, other companies in the services and infrastructure sectors are also encouraged to participate in the survey by downloading the survey questionnaire from the Bank’s website, under the sub-head ‘Survey’. The duly authenticated filled-in survey questionnaire may be e-mailed as per contact details given therein.
