RBI issues draft Master Direction – Business Authorization for Co-operative Banks (Directions) 2025

The Reserve Bank has released the draft Master Direction on Business Authorization for Co-operative Banks. These directions have been framed for the working of Co-operative Banks. The comments on the draft Directions have been invited from public/stakeholders till August 25, 2025. Comments/feedback may be submitted through the respective link under the ‘Connect 2 Regulate’ Section available on the RBI’s website or may alternatively be forwarded to:
