A shocking incident took place in Tansen Nagar, Gwalior, where a bank employee was brutally beaten by a group of four men late at night. The attack happened at around 11 PM on Saturday, when the employee, Neeraj Bhadoria, was returning home from work.
What Happened?
Neeraj, 36 years old, works at the HDFC Bank City Center branch in Gwalior. He lives in New Resham Mill Pragati Nagar, behind Hazira Line No. 01. On Saturday night, after meeting a few clients, Neeraj was on his way home. While passing by Choti Wala Parcel Counter in Tansen Nagar, a bike rider zoomed past him at high speed.

Concerned by the rash driving, Neeraj shouted at the biker, asking him to drive properly. The biker stopped and argued with him, but eventually left without any violence.
The Attack
Neeraj then stopped at a nearby place to get his food packed. About 20 minutes later, the same biker returned with 3–4 companions. This time, they didn’t argue. Instead, they attacked Neeraj and beat him up badly. The attackers even snatched the keys of his bike to stop him from escaping.
The attackers dragged Neeraj in the market area and continued beating him, causing a serious head injury. The violent act was captured on a nearby CCTV camera, and the footage went viral after being seen on Monday.
Police Investigation Underway
After the video surfaced, police registered a case and started an investigation. As of now, none of the attackers have been identified, but the police are scanning CCTV footage to track them down.
ASP Niranjan Sharma confirmed the incident and said,
“A bank employee was attacked after he stopped a biker for rash driving. When he resisted, the attackers assaulted him. We have registered a case and started the search for the accused.”
The incident has raised serious concerns about public safety and rising street violence, especially during late hours. Authorities are under pressure to take swift action and ensure justice for the victim.
