Rajasthan Gramin Bank has come under public criticism for putting up a large welcome poster of its Chairman, Shri Mukesh Ji Bhartiya, on a billboard in Dausa. The poster was displayed on the occasion of his visit for the inauguration of the new premises of the Bandikui Jangir branch.
Several people have raised concerns over Rajasthan Gramin Bank’s decision to display a welcome poster of its Chairman during his visit. They said that instead of highlighting individuals, the bank should focus on promoting its products and services. According to them, banks have a responsibility to inform the public about schemes, loans, deposits, and other customer-friendly facilities. Displaying a poster of the Chairman, they argue, does not benefit customers and amounts to unnecessary expenditure.

The Rajasthan Gramin Bank is an Indian Regional Rural Bank (RRB) in Rajasthan established on 1 May 2025. The bank was formed by the amalgamation of Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank and Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank under The “One State, One RRB” policy of government. It currently has 1548 branches in Rajasthan. It functions under Regional Rural Banks’ Act 1976 and is sponsored by State Bank of India (SBI).
People demand answer from SBI
People on social media are strongly criticizing the move, saying that public money should not be wasted on welcome posters of bank officials. Many users are tagging SBI in the viral image and questioning why such expenses are being made when banks should focus on customer service and promoting their products. They are demanding that the bank clarify the reason behind putting up such posters and give an explanation to the public.
People are questioning the logic behind displaying such posters, asking whether the Chairman is a celebrity, minister, or politician to deserve such publicity. They argue that public servants should be known for their work and service to customers, not for being welcomed with posters and banners.

This act is only to please the boss by his subordinates. worthless for the bank and ofcourse a misuse of bank’s money.
Its not public money for god sake…bank is paying from its profits not from public tax…of course it is wrong but calling it public tax is vague ..

जानता राजस्थान ग्रामीण बैंक के चेयरमैन।के स्वागत में लगाए गए हार्डिंग के लिए आलोचना कर रही है और बैंक को ज्ञान दे रही है कि पोस्टर लगाने के बजाय बैंक के प्रोडक्ट की, बैंकों के स्कीमों की जानकारी जनता को दीजिए।
एक बैंकर होने के नाते मैं एक प्रश्न जनता से पूछना चाहता हु कि हमारी बैंकों द्वारा जिन ऋण संबंधी सरकारी स्कीमों की जानकारी के साथ उनका लाभ बैंकों द्वारा जो जनता को ऋण के रूप में दिया जा रहा है, क्या जनता उस ऋण की राशि को ईमानदारी से नेक नियति के साथ समय पर चुकता करती है ? बिल्कुल नहीं, 25% से अधिक सरकारी ऋण की सुविधा वाले ऋणी, ऋण की राशि को खुर्द बुरद् कर देते है और बैंकों में NPA बढ़ने के साथ बैंकों को हानि की ओर ले जा रहे है जिससे देश की अर्थव्यवस्था दिन प्रति दिन कमजोर होती जा रही है ।
आलोचना करने वाले पहले अपने गिरेबान में झांक कर देखे कि उनका बैंक में कोई काम किसी कारण से नहीं हो पाता या विलंब से हो पाता है तो वो कितना धैर्य रखते है ?
धैर्य तो दूर की बात है बल्कि कर्मचारियों और अधिकारियों की शिकायतें करना, उन पर शारीरिक हमले करना, महिला कर्मचारियों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार करना, बैंकों में रोजमर्रा का हिस्सा बन चुकी है । क्या आप किसी राज्य सरकार या केंद्रीय सरकार के कार्यालयों में इस प्रकार कर्मचारियों से पेश आते है या उनसे ऐसा व्यवहार करते है, बिल्कुल नहीं । आप को किसी सरकारी कार्यालय के कितने ही चककर निकलवाए जाते है लेकिन आप को उस समय सांप सूंघ जाता है । आप के होठ सिल जाते है । आज चुनिंदा ग्राहकों के इस व्यवहार के कारण कोई बेरोजगार युवक बैंकों में रोजगार को प्राथमिकता देना नहीं चाहता । क्योंकि जहां जनता के लिए सरकार द्वारा गांव गांव में बैंकों की शाखाएं जनता की बैंकिंग सुविधाओं के लिए राष्ट्र का धन लगा कर खोली जा रही है लेकिन वो ही जनता दुर्व्यवहार का परिचय दे रही है । बैंक के कर्मचारियों और अधिकारियों के सम्मान को ताक पर रख दिया गया है।

Why they displayed this type of poster. Yes SBI Chairman must take action immediately. Because this Bank must display about SBI LIFE,SBIMF etc which are third party products to earn incentive for top executives.
अध्यक्ष महोदय बैंक के शीर्ष अधिकारी होते है।
उनकी विजिट जिला स्तर पर कभी कभार ही होती है।ऐसे में उनके स्वागत में पोस्टर लगाना अनुचित नहीं है।उनके स्वागत पोस्टर से बैंक का प्रचार-प्रसार भी होता है जिससे बैंक का विश्वास जनता में बढता है एवं बैंक की विभिन्न योजना॓ऐं जोकि ग्राहकों के हित में है उनकी जानकारी शाखा स्तर पर उपलब्ध है।
