PWD Clerk physically assaulted in Mainpuri Uttar Pradesh

A disturbing incident took place at the Public Welfare Department (PWD) office in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, where a contractor and his associates allegedly assaulted a senior clerk. The incident occurred on Wednesday and was caught on camera. The video quickly went viral on social media, drawing public attention and outrage.

The exact reason behind the attack is still unknown. However, the Uttar Pradesh Congress unit claimed that the assault happened after the clerk sent the contractor’s bill for verification before clearing the payment.

In the video, the contractor and his men can be seen assaulting the clerk and even pulling his hair. Some of the clerk’s colleagues tried to stop the attack but were unsuccessful.
