Punjab National Bank Adopts Kukha Village to Promote Financial Services and Sports

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has taken a significant step by adopting Kukha village in the Shivratanganj area of Amethi. This initiative aims to enhance financial services in rural areas while also promoting a culture of sports among children.

Zonal Head Deepak Singh stated that the bank’s main branch has already adopted several villages where various developmental programs for children are conducted every year. As part of this initiative, PNB will offer a zero-balance account facility for children, a move announced by Pradeep Pushpjeevi, Manager of the Divisional Office in Raebareli.

Emphasizing the role of sports in shaping young talent, Division Head Raktimava highlighted that children can bring glory to the country by excelling in sports at the international level. He assured that PNB will provide financial support to children who show promise in sports.

The event was attended by several senior officials, including Senior Branch Manager Shashi Kumar, Chief Manager Arun Kumar Nigam, Mukesh Dubey, Madhuresh Singh, and Vijay Shankar. Bank correspondents from PNB’s Shivratanganj branch, such as Vineet Tiwari, Ashok Jaiswal, and Dinesh Maurya, were also present.

This initiative reflects PNB’s commitment to rural development and financial inclusion while encouraging young talent to participate in sports.
