PNB Signs MoU with ITBP to Provide Benefits to Personnel

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to offer a range of financial benefits and insurance coverage to ITBP personnel and pensioners.

The agreement was signed at the ITBP Headquarters, CGO Complex, New Delhi, by S.P. Singh, General Manager of PNB, and S.C. Mamgain, Inspector General (Administration), ITBP. The MoU exchange took place in the presence of Binay Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager of PNB, Vikash Burman, DIG (Administration), ITBP, and other senior officials from both organizations.

Key Benefits for ITBP Personnel

Under this agreement, ITBP personnel will receive enhanced insurance coverage and other financial benefits, including:

  • Personal Accidental Insurance (PAI): ₹1 crore
  • Air Accidental Insurance (AAI): ₹1.5 crore
  • Permanent/Partial Disability Coverage: ₹1 crore
  • Additional Cover for Death During Operations: ₹10 lakh
  • Cost of Imported Medicines (Including Transportation): Up to ₹10 lakh
  • Air Ambulance Cost: Up to ₹10 lakh

Special Benefits for ITBP Pensioners

PNB is also extending financial security to ITBP pensioners who receive their pension through the bank. They will be eligible for:

  • Lifetime Personal Accidental Insurance (PAI): ₹50 lakh
  • Air Accidental Insurance (AAI): ₹1 crore
  • Additional exclusive benefits for dependents and family members

PNB reaffirmed its dedication to supporting Himveers, the personnel of ITBP, through these financial initiatives. The bank has assured that it will continue to offer valuable services and benefits to ITBP personnel and their families in the future.
