PNB signs MoU with CRPF: CRPF Personnel will get exclusive Benefits

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Under this MoU, PNB will provide a lot of benefits to CRPF personnel, including enhanced insurance coverage and other benefits, under ‘PNB Rakshak Plus’ scheme.

The addendum to the existing MoU was exchanged at the CRPF Directorate General office in CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The MoU was formally signed by Binay Kumar Gupta, Chief General Manager, PNB, and Zaki Ahmad, IPS, Inspector General of Police (ADM), CRPF, in the presence of senior officials from both the Bank and the CRPF.

PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme

All Defence Service Pensioners, regardless of age, whose pensions are credited to their PNB account through SPARSH/CPPC, are eligible for the benefits of Personal Accidental Insurance under the PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme.

This benefit also extends to pensioners of Central & State Police. Some of the main features of the scheme include:

• Personal Accidental Insurance (PAI) (Death Cover): Rs 50 Lakh
• Personal Accident Permanent Total Disability (PTD): Rs 50 Lakh
• Personal Accident Permanent Partial Disability (PPD): Up to Rs 50 Lakh
• Air Accidental Insurance (AAI) (Death Cover): Rs 1 Crore
