As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) data, during the period from financial year (FY)2013-14 till FY2019-20, Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Private Sector Banks (PVBs) wrote-off an aggregate Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) of amount Rs. 7,10,002 crore and Rs. 1,78,622 crore, respectively.
