NIACL AO Education Qualification

| Generalists | Graduate/Post-graduate in any discipline from a recognised University at least 60% marks in either of the degree exams for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates |

NIACL AO Age Limit
The candidate should be of age group 21 to 30 years (for the general candidate) to apply for NIACL AO 2025. The candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd September 1994 and not later than 1st September 2003 (both dates inclusive). The upper age relaxation for other categories is given below.

NIACL AO 2025 Exam Pattern
There would be two Online Examinations in NIACL AO 2025: Phase- 1 is objective only and Phase 2 will be objective and descriptive both.
NIACL AO 2025 Exam Pattern- Phase 1
1. The questions will be from three sections in NIACL Phase 1 Exam: English, Reasoning, and Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude.
2. There is sectional time of 20 minutes for each section.
3. There are 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 1 mark each.
4. There is negative marking of ¼th mark for each incorrect answer.

NIACL AO 2025 Exam Pattern- Phase 2
1. The NIACL AO Mains Exam is divided into 2 sections: Objective & Descriptive type and the candidate have to pass each section separately.
2. The duration of the Objective type paper is of 2 hours and for descriptive, it is of 30 minutes.
3. There are 200 MCQ-type questions and 2 Essay/Letter Writing questions.
4. The descriptive test is conducted in the English language only.
5. There is a negative marking of ¼th mark for each incorrect answer.

NIACL AO Descriptive Test
The duration of the NIACL AO Descriptive Test will be 30 minutes and it will be of 30 marks. It will be a Test of English Language – Letter & Essay writing. NIACL AO descriptive test will be conducted in English and will be online.

NIACL AO Interview Process
An Interview Process is to be conducted for the final selection of candidates for the post of Administrative Officer. The Ratio of the Online Examination and Interview Process will be 80:20.
