The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has called a crucial meeting with major bank employee unions and officers’ associations to discuss key issues related to wages and working conditions. The meeting, scheduled for April 23, 2025, will be held at the IBA office in Mumbai.

What is the Meeting About?

The Negotiating Committee of the IBA, led by Shri Rajneesh Karnatak (MD & CEO of Bank of India), will hold discussions with representatives from eight major banking unions and associations. The talks will focus on unresolved issues from previous meetings, particularly those related to employee demands and industrial relations. Earlier, meeting were held but no conclusion could be arrived at. Now the discussions on unfulfilled demands will be done in this meeting.
