A shocking incident of a murderous attack on the Union Bank manager has surfaced in Nawada. A young man repeatedly stabbed manager Abhay Kumar inside the bank located in the Bundelkhand police station area. The severely injured manager was initially admitted to a local hospital but was later referred for advanced treatment.

According to the information, bank manager Abhay Kumar was working in the Union Bank branch. At that time there was no police or security personnel in the bank. Meanwhile, Gautam Kumar, a young man running a private Aadhaar service center, suddenly entered his cabin and started arguing on some issue. After this, Gautam first threw chilli powder on his face and then attacked him with a knife. He stabbed the manager on the head and other places, due to which he was seriously injured.
Meanwhile, other bank employees and customers caught the attacker Gautam and immediately informed the police. DSP Hulas Kumar, Bundelkhand police station in-charge Avinash Kumar, Akhilesh Kumar and many other policemen reached the spot and investigated the matter.
The attacker Gautam Kumar runs a private Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Sometimes camps were organised by Union Bank through Gautam. During the camp, the branch manager got information that Gautam Kumar was making Aadhaar cards by charging more money. Also, extortion was being done in other ways. When Union Bank branch manager Abhay Kumar came to know about this, he immediately removed him from the bank’s work. The bank manager was attacked in this dispute.
SDPO Hulas Kumar said that Gautam Kumar, who runs a private Aadhaar Seva Kendra, was removed by the bank manager for illegal extortion, due to which he got angry and reached the bank and threw chilli powder and attacked the manager with a knife.
