On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to increase the dearness allowance of state government servants by 3% to 58%.
All government servants will receive 58% dearness allowance on their April 2026 salary (paid in May), similar to the Government of India.
The arrears from July 2025 to March 2026 will be paid in 6 equal installments starting from May 2026. Pensioners will also receive 58% dearness allowance on their pension from January to February 2026.
More than seven lakh employees and four lakh pensioners will get the benefit. The increased DA will be given from the salary of April (paid in May).
The arrears from July 2025 to March 2026 will be received in 6 installments. Pensioners will get 58% Dearness Relief (DR) from January 2026. This decision will also help in benefiting the pensioners of Chhattisgarh.
