Loan Defaulter attacked PNB Employees, Locked and brutally assaulted Bank Staff

A very shocking incident has come to light from the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. A young man not only abused the Punjab National Bank branch manager and his colleague, who had gone for loan recovery, but also locked them inside a room and brutally assaulted them. After the incident, the police have registered a case and started an investigation.

Details of the Incident

According to available information, Prashant Kumar, originally from Madhepura district in Bihar, is currently working as a Branch Manager at a bank’s Parol branch in Hamirpur. Prashant, along with his colleague Rajendra Pal, had gone to the house of Rahul Sharma, son of Rakesh Kumar and a resident of Davrehda village, for loan recovery.

Initially, everything seemed normal when they reached the house. Rahul’s mother asked both bank employees to sit inside a room. Meanwhile, Rahul Sharma suddenly arrived at the scene. As soon as he entered, he pushed his mother out of the room and locked the door from inside.

Assault Inside the Room

After trapping both bank employees inside the room, Rahul attacked them suddenly. He beat them badly with kicks and punches. He also used abusive language. The sudden attack left both employees terrified, and they tried to protect themselves. After a lot of struggle and effort, the employees somehow managed to open the door and escape, saving their lives.

Police Action

Immediately after the incident, the frightened bank employees informed the police. Considering the seriousness of the case, the police quickly took action and registered a case against Rahul Sharma based on the complaint.

According to the Branch Manager, Rahul Sharma had an outstanding loan amount, and he had already been sent a notice. Rahul had promised to repay the amount by 25 March, but when he failed to do so, the bank officials contacted him and then visited his house.

At present, the police are conducting a detailed investigation and preparing to take strict legal action against the accused.
