Lakhimpur Kheri: Woman Accuses Bank Employee of Harassment, Later Withdraws Complaint

A young woman accused a bank employee on Station Road of misbehaving with her. She claimed that the employee asked for her mobile number. When she objected, an argument broke out, and she created a scene inside the bank. Police later arrived and took the employee to the police station.

On Tuesday, the woman entered the bank and started shouting, accusing the employee of harassment. She alleged that he was troubling her under the pretext of helping with her work and had asked for her phone number. After getting information about the incident, police reached the spot and took the employee for questioning.

According to the police, the employee was only helping her by saying he needed to print her passbook, and the issue occurred due to a misunderstanding. Later, the woman told the police that she did not want any action taken. City Police Officer Rajesh Kumar Singh confirmed that the woman refused to pursue the matter further.
