Is Union Bank providing Rs.2 Lakh Marriage Allowance to Employees?
A letter of Union Bank is going viral on social media. The letter mentions that the bank has introduced a marriage allowance of Rs.2 Lakhs for its employees. But this letter is Fake.
The letter states: A marriage allowance of Rs. 2.00 lakhs will be given to all employees of the bank as a benefit to support their marital life and well-being. The marriage allowance can be claimed by an employee once in every 5 years, regardless of whether it is their first marriage or subsequent marriages.
All employees of the bank, irrespective of their position, designation, or length of service, are eligible to receive this marriage allowance. This benefit is available to permanent, part-time, temporary, and contractual employees.

But this letter is fake. The senior leaders of the association have confirmed hellobanker that this letter is fake and Union Bank has not introduced any such marriage allowance.
