In a major financial update, Indian Overseas Bank has announced that it has received an Income Tax refund order amounting to ₹1,146.06 crore for the Assessment Year (AY) 2015-16, including interest under Section 244A of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The order, dated June 16, 2025, was issued under Section 154 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and was received by the bank on July 18, 2025 at 8:34 PM via email. The official communication carried the Document Identification Number (DIN): ITBA/REC/M/154/2025-26/1077240600(1).
The disclosure has been made by the bank in compliance with Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and as per SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/2023/0155 dated November 11, 2024.
