Indian Overseas Bank Launches Online Donation Facility for Shree Kashi Vishwanath Mandir
Indian Overseas Bank has recently launched an online facility for donations to the Shree Kashi Vishwanath Mandir Trust. This initiative demonstrates the bank’s commitment to embracing technology to preserve and enhance the sanctity of the cultural heritage site.
To facilitate donations to the temple, the bank has also opened its first savings bank account for the Shree Kashi Vishwanath Mandir Trust at Varanasi Cantonment. Devotees who wish to donate online can visit the bank’s website or opt for NEFT/RTGS transfers to the Mandir Trust’s Savings Bank account.
Benefits and Tax Deductions for Donors
Donors who contribute to the Shree Kashi Vishwanath Mandir Trust can avail the benefits of income tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for their contributions.
