Public sector bank Indian Bank will organize a hackathon focused on cyber security and fintech in collaboration with IIT Madras in April this year. The event will address critical issues like endpoint security, fraud prevention in fintech, and advanced fraud detection mechanisms in the field of cyber security.
This exclusive hackathon will be open to students and researchers from IIT Madras. The announcement was made after Indian Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the prestigious institution on Tuesday.
The event is part of a series of hackathons organized by public sector banks, following an advisory from the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA). These programmes are being held in association with IITs, universities, and scientific institutions to promote innovation in the financial and technological sectors.
