The aim of the Innovision Hackathon was to promote innovation, support entrepreneurship, and develop real-world solutions for the banking sector, especially in areas like FinTech (financial technology) and cybersecurity.

Strong Participation and Innovative Ideas

The hackathon saw strong participation, with 33 teams from IIT Madras joining the challenge. From these, 21 teams were shortlisted — 12 in the FinTech category and 9 in the cybersecurity category. These teams were selected based on how original, useful, and impactful their ideas were.

Expert Mentorship and Real-World Prototypes

To help bring their ideas to life, the shortlisted teams were paired with expert mentors from both Indian Bank and IIT Madras. These mentors helped guide the students in turning their creative concepts into working models or prototypes that address real problems in banking.
