IDBI Bank Manager Found Dead at Home in Bihar; Police Suspect Suicide

A suicide note has surfaced in which IDBI Bank Employee has mentioned that he is not able to bear increase pressure in Job.
The body of an IDBI Bank manager was found hanging in Saharsa, Bihar on Tuesday morning. The manager has been identified as 45-year-old Rakesh Roshan. He was alone at home when the incident happened, as his wife and children had gone to attend a relative’s wedding in Godda, Jharkhand.
The incident took place in the Saharsa Sadar police station area. Police were informed at around 11 a.m. and reached the spot immediately. Rakesh’s wife has been informed, and the police will take down the body and send it for a postmortem only after she arrives.
On Tuesday morning, when Rakesh did not reach the bank by 10 a.m., the bank’s peon tried calling him. After four to five attempts, his phone switched off. The peon, Mohammad Mohid, then informed other bank employees. Around the same time, Rakesh’s wife also called the bank. She said she was unable to reach him and asked them to connect her. The peon told her that Rakesh had not come to the office and was not answering calls. After this, the police were informed.
At around 10:30 a.m., the bank employee and peon Mohid went to Rakesh’s rented room. They knocked on the door for about 10 minutes, but there was no response. They then looked through the ventilation above the door and saw Rakesh hanging from the ceiling fan. The employees immediately informed the police and the landlord. They also informed Rakesh’s wife.
Sadar Police Station Chief Subodh Kumar reached the location with a police team. They saw the body hanging from a cloth noose, while a towel was lying on the bed. Police suspect it to be a suicide, but the reason is still unknown. Rakesh had been living in the rented house with his wife, two sons, and a daughter for the past two years. He had also been working as a manager at the same bank for two years. Before this, he worked in Supaul for three years.
