Job Summary

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and building architectural designs for specific services, defining cloud reference architecture and standards. You will develop and own the technical roadmap alongside the Cloud Strategy Manager to ensure a consistent and scalable architecture. This role is a part of the Cloud Centre of Excellence (COE), which governs cloud adoption across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. You will be a key player in the Bank’s transformation journey from Bank to BankTech.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture Development: Design and implement technical architectures that align with the bank’s cloud strategy and existing infrastructure.
• Operational Excellence: Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software architectures to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
• Scalability & Agility: Ensure the cloud architecture is flexible and scalable to accommodate future business needs.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the operations team to incorporate operational insights into architecture design.
• Support & Guidance: Review solution blueprints, prototypes, and project scopes to ensure they meet business needs.
• Service Orientation: Partner with development teams throughout the software lifecycle to align solutions with cloud architecture principles.

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ M.E/ M.S with 12+ years of experience in cloud computing, including at least 4+ years in cloud architecture.
• Industry Preference: Experience in banking is an added advantage.
• Security & Compliance: Strong knowledge of security design, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Proficiency in cloud infrastructure design, covering network, storage, and compute in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced Knowledge: In-depth expertise in orchestration, compute, storage, networking, database management, and information security.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience in software-defined infrastructure (SDI, Cloud, SDE).
• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a key advisor for all cloud-related architecture concerns and best practices.
