ICICI Bank Important News! RTGS Service will be unavailable on 14 and 15 Dec

ICICI Bank has announced that its RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) services, both inward and outward, will be temporarily unavailable for six hours due to scheduled maintenance. The downtime will start at 11:55 PM on December 14 and continue until 6:00 AM on December 15.

Customers were informed of this maintenance via an official email notification. During this period, alternative payment methods such as NEFT, IMPS, or UPI will remain operational through the iMobile app and Internet Banking.

How to Use RTGS via ICICI Net Banking

  1. Visit the ICICI Bank Net Banking portal and log in using your credentials.
  2. Go to the ‘Funds Transfer’ option under the ‘Payments and Transfers’ tab.
  3. Select ‘Add a Payee’ and choose ‘Other Bank Payee’ as the beneficiary type.
  4. Enter the beneficiary’s account details, including the IFSC code by selecting the bank and branch name.
  5. Click ‘Add’, review the details, and select ‘Confirm’.
  6. Authenticate the process by entering the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  7. Once verified, the payee will be available for future transactions.

With this setup, you can seamlessly transfer funds using RTGS once services resume.
