All India Regional Rural banks (AIRRBEA) has announced strike on 23 February 2024 against non fulfilment of demands. The bank union had raised various issues which have still not been addressed by the management. The bank union has announced a one day strike on 23 February 2024.
Demands of Gramin Bank Employees
- Formation of NRBI with State level RRBs, Totally Delinked from Sponsor Banks.
- Proper Manpower Planning- Immediate Revision of Promotion Rules/Adequate recruitment to fill up the 30,000 vacant posts.
- Immediate Amendment of Service Rule/ Leave Rule.
- Regularisation of Daily waged/Part time/ Casual workers.
- Full Parity of Wage Structure – IBA to be allowed to include RRBs for Wage Revision Negotiations.
- Proper and full Implementation of Pension Parity with coverage of all left out cases under RRB PR 2018.
- Proper Implementation of Computer Increment and Compassionate appointment scheme with Retrospective Date.
- Payment of Gratuity as per Service Rules on Calculation Taking BP Plus DA.
