  1. I think this will improve productivity of employees which will help banks to gain substantially. All other government undertaking are working on 5 days a week without hindering their daily work at all. As mostly urgent work like clearing ,foreign exchange activities are well taken care of by computer systems. And banking systems are robust to take any challenges as compared to historical banking. Welcome suggestion to implement 5 days week banking.

    • Due to digital India initiative of Govt, People are becoming techno sevvy and very much comprehend to do online transaction. Five days banking will help to boost digital India initiative. No problem will be faced by the customer.

  2. Eventhough govt. implement 4 days weekl, most of the present employee will not work properly & the customer will suffer much. The employee will leave friday afternoon the bank. Nobody will take actions against them.

  3. Multiple Banking channels available for the people in digitally mode as ATM,INB,UPI,ADWM,CDK for solution of every banking problems another channel is CSP which helps customer from every nook and corner .hence it is the demand of time . justify the demand of bankers

  4. If the bank server is down, who will be accountable?? If cash service in Sbi, become off on 4pm, what if server down and with 5day banking

  5. First banking authority improve network
And server problems facing by rural areas
    Bank customers.
State government holidays are not applicable
    To banks.
Central government 17 holiday’s only allowed .daily working hours 0930 to 1800 hours ..
ATM and pass book printings machine not
    Working.

  6. While this will certainly help the Bank Employees at large for a better family Life and their demand has been fulfilled by the Bank Management/the Government, it becomes the legal duty and moral responsibilities of the Bank Employees to Sincerely Work for the revised Working hours on the remaining working days and to give best of them, more particularly to the needy customers, who may not be able cope up with the Modern Digital Banking due to their limited knowledge and resources to access the latest gadgets required for Banking operations.
This will be a great service to the Banking Customers, if the Bank Employees vow for the same.

  7. Bankers also should have work life balance,5 days banking is very necessary for bankers, govt has to consider bankers demands and should respond positively because they are the backbone of Indian economy,
